The Montage 8 offers sophisticated dynamic control, massive sound creation and streamlined workflow. Combining its Motion Control Synthesis Engine with AWM2 and FM-X Sound Engines, as well as incredible acoustic samples of Yamaha and Bosendorfer acoustic pianos, allows the player to utilise this as either a solo stage piano, or as a workstation, making it ideal for bands or creative composers. Seamless sound switching (SSS) is perfect for the live performances where you need to end one song and start another without the sound cutting out. Unlike like the Montage 7, the Montage 8 has 88 weighted keys, allowing for ease of dynamic control when playing expressively, and allows the player more range to map out the keyboard with numerous tones with more freedom of tonal colour and range. It is slightly heavier than the Montage 7, however, but still quite light considering its capabilities.
