All products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. The following manufacturers offer warranties that are in addition to the protection conferred by law.


Digital Pianos & Keyboards


Yamaha

Yamaha provide a five (5) year factory product warranty on all digital keyboards and pianos that covers defects in materials or workmanship for the duration of the warranty period.

This warranty provides free of charge and parts labour provided work is carried out by one of Yamaha’s Authorised Keyboard and Digital Piano Service Centres.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from accident, negligence, misuse, abuse, operation or failure to follow instructions contained in your Owner’s Manual;
  • Damage or loss to the product during shipment (all claims relating to freight/shipment damage should be presented to the carrier);
  • Repair or attempted repair by anyone other than Yamaha or a Yamaha Authorised Keyboard and Digital Piano Service Centre;
  • Normal wear and any periodic maintenance;
  • Deterioration by reason of perspiration, corrosive atmosphere, or other external causes such as extremes in temperature or humidity;
  • Any products on which the serial number has been altered defaced modified or removed.
  • Evidence of alteration, erasing or forgery of proof of purchase documents will void this warranty.

Roland

Roland provides a minimum Five (5) Year Manufacturer’s Warranty on all Roland Digital Piano and Keyboards, protecting against defects in workmanship and materials.

Selected models are covered by a Ten (10) Year Manufacturer’s Warranty as follows:

HP-504, HP-506, HP-508, HPi-50e, HP-603, HP-603A, HP-605, DP-603, LX-7, LX-17 and GP-607 purchased after 1st January 2015.

During the warranty period, Roland Corporation will repair or replace the Roland Digital Pianos or Keyboard which fail to operate as intended, where it is established that the failure is directly due to defective workmanship or materials as judged by an authorised Roland Service Agent within Australia.

The Manufacturer’s Warranty does not apply to damage that occurred as a result of abuse or misuse, abnormal service or handling, battery leakage or failure, thunderstorm activity, liquid contact, fire, water, by insects or vermin, damage which may have been caused either directly or indirectly by another product, or if the product has been altered or modified in any way, or if the damage was caused by repairs or service provided or attempted by anyone other than Roland Technical Services or by an authorised Roland Service Agent within Australia. Roland warranties are not transferrable.

Casio

Shriro Australia provides a (5) five‐year conditional warranty for Casio Electronic Musical Instrument products, and 12-months for power adapters, from the date of original purchase.

Upon proof of purchase, the product will be repaired free of charge for both parts and labour, provided a defect in materials and or workmanship has been verified.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Improper, rough or careless treatment;
  • Fire or other natural calamity;
  • Improper repair or adjustment made by anyone other then a CASIO authorised service centre;
  • Battery leakage, bending of the unit, broken display or keys;
  • Use of other than the correct AC adaptor;
  • When the proof of purchase is not presented when requesting service.

Acoustic Pianos


New Yamaha

Yamaha provide a ten (10) year factory product warranty on all new acoustic pianos that covers defects in materials or workmanship for the duration of the warranty period.

This warranty provides for parts and labour, repairs are free of charge provided work is carried out by one of our Authorised Acoustic Piano Service Agents. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. The warranty details and conditions outlined apply only to products and equipment sold within Australia and distributed by Yamaha Music Australia.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from accident, negligence, misuse, abuse, operation or failure to follow instructions contained in your Owner’s Manual;
  • Damage or loss to the product during shipment (all claims relating to freight/shipment damage should be presented to the carrier);
  • Repair or attempted repair by anyone other than YAMAHA or an YAMAHA Acoustic Piano Service Centre;
  • Normal wear and any periodic maintenance;
  • ****Deterioration by reason of perspiration, corrosive atmosphere, or other external causes such as extremes in temperature or humidity;
  • Any products on which the serial number has been altered, defaced, modified or removed;
  • Evidence of alteration, erasing or forgery of proof of purchase documents will void this warranty.
  • The replacement of parts necessitated by normal wear and tear, including string breakage, tarnishing and rusting;
  • Changes in the condition of the cabinet finish;
  • Tuning, voicing and regulation;
  • Any adjustments that are deemed to be a normal part of set-up and/or maintenance.

***Caution: In areas of high humidity additional precautions may be necessary as a preventative measure against rust or corrosion.

New Brodmann

Joseph Brodmann Piano Group provide a Ten (10) Year Warranty that covers defects in materials or workmanship for the duration of the warranty period.

Every Brodmann piano comes with a warranty certificate, which includes instructions concerning general maintenance, tuning, voicing, regulation, cleaning, temperature control and other important considerations in caring for your instrument. This will help you to keep your piano in excellent condition for many years to come.

Used Pianos

All Australian Piano Warehouse used pianos have been thoroughly inspected by independent local piano technicians for any faults before presentation for sale and come with a Five (5) Year ‘Peace of mind’ warranty that covers defects in materials or workmanship for the duration of the warranty period.
