The Yamaha CLP785 is the flagship model in Yamaha’s latest range of acclaimed Clavinova CLP series digital pianos and will more than hold its own against a similarly priced acoustic piano. Yamaha’s CLP series digital pianos are designed to recreate for the player the experience of performing on a grand piano. The CLP785 features a GrandTouch linear graded keyboard action with wooden white keys, counterweights and escapement, Yamaha’s premium CFX Grand and Bosendorfer grand piano voices with Binaural sampling, and a powerful speaker system to provide an engaging and convincing piano playing experience.
Above and beyond its ability to recreate the feeling of an acoustic piano, the CLP785 also contains a number of non-piano sounds such as electric piano, organ and harpsichord and a number of backing rhythms for those who want to expand their musical range. It also includes a full 480 sound XG library.
Recording of your performances can be captured within the instrument itself or it can be connected via usb to a computer for expanded recording and notation functionality. The piano can also connect via bluetooth to Yamaha’s Smart Pianist app for ease of use and additional features.
